I related to a lot of the content in this book both from my childhood and from supporting my daughters through their life stages. Unfortunately, nowadays, the mean girls can become a “thing” as early as third grade. I enjoyed the quotes at the start of each chapter, the stories and real-life examples, the reflection prompts with open-ended questions, the parenting tips, and (of course) the humor woven throughout the entire book. I’ll be keeping these ideas top-of-mind when interacting with my kids.
